Enriching lives and fulfilling dreams by preparing students to pursue and achieve…Sri Alluri Venkateshwara Rao garu Chairman, Avanthi Feeds Limited, Kovvur has established AVR Trust in February 1999 with the sole aim of starting a degree college at Kovvur. The objectives for which the trust is formed are: To establish, maintain, run educational institutions and to contribute funds to any institution carrying on the similar objects. To establish, maintain, run educational institutions and to contribute from *****out of the trust**** funds to any institution carrying on the similar objects. To grant scholarships to the poor and meritorious students for their studies in India. To provide relief either financially or in any other manner to the victims and sufferers in any natural calamity. To provide Medical Relief for the poor by way of contributions or by establishing Hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers Note:- The objects mentioned in articles (A) to (D) Supra shall be independent of each other and the Board of Trustees are hereinafter constituted may from time to time, apply the funds of the Trust in carrying out all or any of the aforesaid objects of the Trust as it may in its absolute discretion deem fit.
OUR FACILITIES
Alluri Bapineedu and Pendyala Ranga Rao College of Science is a UG & PG College established in August 1999(UG), affiliated to Andhra University.Alluri Bapineedu and Pendyala Ranga Rao College of Science is a degree college affiliated to the Andhra University.It was established in August 1999 by the A V R Trust.
Late Sri Alluri Venkateswara Rao Founder Chairman, Avanthi Feeds Ltd, Kovvur has started A V R Trust for the promotion of higher education to the people of Kovvur and surrounding villages as there was a long felt need for a degree college in this area.
The college is situated amidst green paddy fields and the atmosphere is ideal for an educational institution. There are two pucca structures of 1+2 ; one for PG courses and the other for UG courses.
In the UG block besides library, ladies waiting room, principals room, staff room, 18 class rooms and all science labs are situated. In the PG block, there is separate library, seminar room, 6 class rooms, ladies waiting room and several rooms for laboratories.
The College is run on two basic concepts ” Good standards of education ” and ” Maintenance of discipline ” . Ever since its inception the college is getting good results and maintaining good discipline. The results achieved by the college are evident for this.
There is a very spacious library in the college. The library is in cool and calm atmosphere at the ground floor of the building which is having ample air and ventilation.
There are several volumes of books in the respective subjects and many reference books for each subject. Regular text books are also issued to students on rotation basis.
There are so many general books to improve the general knowledge of the students. Besides the academic books, many journals in all subjects, monthlies, fortnights, weeklies and daily news papers are available in the library.
The library can accommodate hundreds students at a time in its reading room. The library is upto date with all new volumes year by year.

Our college has provided bus facility for the girl students of Kovvur and surrounding villages. in bringing the students to college and taking them home in time, despite any weather conditions. So, the students are able to come to college in time. Thus, the bus helps the students come to college on time and save them from tedious journey. The college collects a nominal fee for the transportation.
Bus Routes
Bus No.1( Kovvur to Nidadavole ) – Kovvur, Pasivedala, Chaggalu, Meenanagaram, Unagatla, Brahmanagudem and Nidadavole.
Bus No.2 (Kovvur to Polavaram) – Kovvur, Aarikarevala, Kumaradevam, Chidipi, Vengeswarapuram, Tallapudi, Prakkilanka, Tadipudi, Gutala, Pattiseema and Polavaram.
Bus No.3 (Kovvur to Gopalapuram) – Kovvur, Dommeru, Savaram, Penakalametta, Dharmavaram, Malakapalli, Peddevam, Ballipadu, Vegeswarapuram, Pidimetta, Annadevarapeta, Chityala and Gopalapuram.
Bus No.4 (Kovvur to Rajahmundry) – Kovvur, Kovvur(Railway Station), Kotipalli Bus stand, Gokavaram Bus stand. Note: Bus No.4 is especially for P.G students.
The college provided waiting rooms for both boys and girls separately. The ladies waiting hall is very spacious with all the amenities like dining room, bathrooms and toilets each 4 in number. They are always washed and kept clean. As regards sanitation our college takes strict measures to keep the entire premises hygiene.
In our college there is a separate waiting hall for boys. It is very spacious with all the facilities like drinking water, dining room and for reading.
NSS is one of the service oriented schemes launched by the central ministry of youth. Our college is enrolled as one of the members of NSS for doing various service activities by the involvement of the students. Our motto is “SERVICE TO SOCIETY IS SERVICE TO GOD”.
NSS was started in our college during the academic year 2008-09. 100 students were enrolled as NSS volunteers, out of whom 40 students are women-volunteers and rest of them are men-volunteers. Our NSS volunteers have been doing many social awareness programmes besides clean and green activities in local town and other surrounding areas. The NSS unit is running successfully under the guidance and supervision of Mr. N.V. Subba Rao, Principal and Co-ordinator of NSS & Mr. Dr. Y. Ramesh, Programme Officer.
We have Seminar Hall in the Second Floor of Sri Velagapudi RamaKrishna Bhavanam for conducting meetings and Cultural Activities.
We have Spacious Class Rooms having Lights and Fans. In these Class Rooms Faculty can view all the students during the class.

For IV Semester Final Examinations will commence from 20th October, 2020 and II Semester Final Examinations will commence from 4th November, 2020.
VI Semester results were released on 16th October, 2020 in Adikavi Nannaya University website.
